Safety and security

  • Your wallets are made and held by Privy, a wallet provider. Your private keys live in Privy’s secure enclave; fomocopy never sees them.
  • You can export a wallet’s key from the account menu, and import one. An imported key is encrypted in your browser for Privy before it leaves; fomocopy never sees it either.
  • fomocopy will never ask for your private key or seed phrase. Anyone who does is not us.
  • Slippage limits. Every trade states the least it will accept and cancels on chain rather than fill worse.
  • Front-running protection. On Solana, MEV protection sends trades through Jito (on by default). BNB Chain and Ethereum trades go through private routes; Base has no public mempool. See Supported chains.
  • Simulated first. Base, BNB Chain and Ethereum trades are simulated before you sign.
  • Honeypot check. Optional on Base, BNB Chain and Ethereum: before a buy, fomocopy simulates selling straight back and warns if you couldn’t. On Robinhood Chain, each coin’s taxes are measured the same way and shown on its page.
  • Price check. On Robinhood Chain, Base, BNB Chain and Ethereum, if a route pays well under a coin’s market price, the trade stops and asks before going ahead.

Lists leave out coins that fail FOMO’s published safety rules: stock tokens, wrapped coins, coins under $20K of liquidity, and coins held too much by snipers, bundlers or their creator. See Safety filters.
