Selling on Robinhood Chain
On Robinhood Chain, trades go through a trading contract. Before your wallet’s first sale (or first buy paid in USDG), the wallet gives that contract permission to trade its coins.
This happens by itself: the first time you sell, the panel shows “Turning on selling for this wallet (once, about 5¢)…”, signs it, and then sends your sale.
- It costs about 5¢ of gas, once per wallet.
- Buying with ETH doesn’t need it.
- If the trading contract is ever replaced, your wallet turns selling on again by itself on its next sale.
